A BRILLIANT IS A CARBON PIECE- YES, BUT WITH 58 POLISHED FACETS
There are so many people in the companies living upset every working day and being unproductive just because their boss has unconstructive behaviors.
And sometimes they are hopeless and feel irelevant, or not fitting there, so decide to change the job, and •••meanwhile work without commitments and implication•••.
I am talking about this in the context of a big Thema: THE BLINDSPOTS.
Because all I mentioned are consequences of a boss having" blind spots"and not self aware about them. These are those things "that you don't know that you don't know".
Here you can be aware about the top 15 blind spots of modern leaders :
-Withholding emotional commitment
-Not taking a stand
-Tolerating “good enough”
-Exclude accidentally people
-Compete with top performers
-Trying to make him/herself indispensable
-Holding important information
-Going it alone
-Being insensitive of his/her behavior on others
-Having an “I know” attitude
-Avoiding the difficult conversations
-Blaming others or circumstances
-Treating commitments casually
-Conspiring against others
-Taking all the decisions alone.
Surround yourself with some people you trust and ask honest feedback. Be a proactive leader working on self. And polish the diamond you are.
And, yes, diamond leaders exist.
It was a hard work thaht they did on self. With effort, setting standards, with a perfomer mindset always turned-on, with honesty and without postponing actions that request change. But greatness is achieved only about the people that are open to make the extra mile effort.
